Naviance is a web-based college and career readiness platform that helps students connect their academic achievement to post-secondary goals. Its college and career planning solutions optimize student success, enhance college planner productivity, and track results for school and district administrators. When logged in students will be able to develop their college or career pathway. Through self discovery, and collaboration with parents and the college planning team; students will

- Search & match colleges based on the student's skill sets and interests
- Request teacher recommendations and transcripts
- Track their college applications, acceptances, and admissions
- Search for scholarships

In order to better meet the needs of students, all additional forms and links to important websites used in the college planning process are posted in the Naviance system. This includes notes from planning sessions, visitation checklists and permission forms, and information on testing, reporting AP scores, financial considerations,and much more. The Naviance system is currently available for Upper School students only. Specific questions can be guided to a member of the College Planning team.
Included within the Naviance service is access to the PrepMe for ACT Test preparation. As all high school juniors in North Carolina take the ACT in March, the PrepMe ACT resource will allow PLP students to pace themselves and prepare for all sections of the exam. PrepMe's adaptive platform diagnoses each student's individual strengths and weaknesses to create an individualized study plan.
