Middle School ELA Teacher

Pine Lake Preparatory is currently seeking a Middle School English Language Arts Teacher to fulfill an interim position for the remainder of the 2017-2018 school year, with the potential for future full-time employment. The MS ELA Teacher should be motivated, dynamic, organized and have the ability to work in diverse teams.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Provide high quality English Language Arts instruction to assist students in reaching their full academic potential
  • Plan, prepare and deliver appropriate lessons using a variety of presentation methods to keep students engaged 
  • Maintain records and communicate students' progress and development
  • Create and maintain a positive classroom environment that promotes good behavior and adheres to PLP's Code of Conduct 

The candidate will be required to uphold standards set by the NC Department of Public Instruction. Desirable applicants will hold a Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university and have a valid NC teaching license or be eligible for licensure in NC.  Please submit cover letters and resumes to:humanresources@pinelakeprep.org
