After School Enrichment Partnership – The After School Enrichment Partnership assists with coordinating and planning after school enrichment programs for PLP students. This Partnership provides opportunities after school hours. The Partnership typically meets on a quarterly basis ut may need to meet more frequently in sub-committees as clubs are being established. Involvement in this Partnership may also include summer coordination. |
Athletics Partnership – The partnership is established to support the athletic and health program for PLP. This group assists in in organizing and coaching team functions, participating in league events, and coordinating events such as the Lower School Field Day (Clubs on the Run), Middle School Field Day (Pirates of Pine Lake), Upper School Field Day (Pride on the Prowl), Bike Day, and Kite Day. This Partnership provides opportunities during after school hours. This Partnership typically meets quarterly and sometimes more frequently prior to an event date. |
Classroom Volunteer Partnership – Classroom Volunteers assist teachers/associates with day-to-day activities in the classroom. For each classroom two Classroom Coordinator will be chosen. Opportunities include involvement during school hours and activities that can be accomplished at home. Level of involvement can be weekly or monthly based on need of teacher and family member's availability. There are no regularly scheduled meetings.

Communication Partnership – This Partnership supports PLP with the production of the newsletter, collaboration on the yearbook with Upper School, and in the coordination of PR efforts ( i.e. photography and light journalism). Involvement may also include assisting with the school's web site content. Opportunities within this Partnership are primarily during school, hours, but do provide some at home tasks. This Partnership typically meets on a quarterly basis. |
Fine Arts Partnership – This partnership suppports PLP with it's Fine Arts Initiatives including art, music, chorus, drama, and band. Involvement may include assisting with specific classes, coordinating, organizing and/or chaperoning events. This Partnership provides opportunities during after school hours. This Partnership typically meets quarterly and sometimes more frequently prior to an event date.

“Fun” Raising Partnership – The Fun-Raising organizes fund raisers for the support of the daily on-going needs and activities at PLP. This group manages such fund raisers as Box Tops, Bonus point Cards (i.e. Harris Teeter), Vendor Lunch Program, “Dress-up to Build-up”, Family Resturaunt Nights and variety of retailer incentive programs. Opportunities within this Partnership are typically after school hours and can be accomplished at home. This Patnership typically meets on a quarterly basis. |
Go Green Partnership – This Partnership will help organize and execute a 'Go Green' initiative for the entire campus. Events may be school specific such as with Adopt a Highway for Upper School, or campus wide, such as recycling. Opportunities within this Partnership are both during and after school hours. This Partnership typically meets on a quarterly basis and may provide some summer opportunities. |
Grants Partnership – The Grants Partnership includes PLP families, Academic Partners, and other interested persons to locate, review, and submit appropriate grants which will bring additional funds and materials to our school. Most grants are located and submitted online. Dr. Anne McIntosh keeps an updated spreadsheet of those grants PLP is considering or has applied. The GRANTS partnership meets approximately every two months. This Partnership provides opportunities for volunteerism during and after school hours and during the weekend. This Partnership meets monthly and sometimes more frequently prior to an event date. Involvement in this partnership also includes summer opportunities. Pride for Pine Lake Partnership- The Pride for Pine Lake Partnership assists with interior and exterior improvements and maintenance of the campus and Houston House. This group helps with such things as facility maintenance, Saturday Cleanup, planting seasonal flowers, and moving large items. This Partnership provides opportunities during and after school hours and on the weekend. Meetings will be held on an as-needed basis. Involvement in this partnership also includes summer opportunities. |
Service Learning Partnership- Service Learning is a requirement for all PLP students. Emphasis is on making connections with the community and coordinating projects that are hands-on and take our students face to face with real needs. This group assists in the planning and organizing of the service learning initiative for the lower school and in monitoring/chaperoning the service learning initiative for all schools (lower, middle, and upper) This Partnership provides opportunities for volunteerism during and after school hours and during the weekend. This Partnership meets monthly. |
Spirit Partnership- This group of volunteers support campus-wide events by planning, organizing, and executing activities to support these events. School-wide events include the Sept- PLP Camp-In, Oct - “Bones” Ball, Nov- Thanksgiving Feast, Dec- Celebrations Around the World, Jan – Connections of our World, Feb - 100th Day of School, Feb - “Cruisin on the Ship”, March – Raging River, April - “Hoop the Loop”, and June – Kaleidoscope Ceremony. This Partnership provides opportunities for volunteerism during and after school hours and during the weekend. This Partnership meets monthly and sometimes more frequently prior to an even date.

Technology Partnership – The Technology Partnership assists the Technology Director/Administration with the development of the web content and design structure, PowerPoint presentations, and webinars. This group also provides input/feedback on how to incorporate technology into the classrooms and may be asked to facilitate computer training to PLP's team members and students. Opportunities within this Partnership are both during and after school hours. This Partnership typically meets on quarterly basis and may provide some summer opportunities.

Traffic and Safety Partnership – The Traffic and Safety partnership's role is to assist the Campus Manager in developing a plan for traffic patterns, parking, pedestrian traffic, and safety measures that need to be incorporated to ensure the protection of our faculty, students and guests. Involvement includes coordination of traffic stimulations, issuing vehicle identification stickers and assistance with traffic handling during campus events. This Partnership provides opportunities during and after school hours and on the weekend. Meeting will be held on an as-need basis. Involvement in this partnership alsio includes summer opportunities. |
